- Does the degree of coloration vary depending on the type of organic solvent?
- These products use the fact that a blue reagent contained in the white test paper is dissolved by water so that traces of water turn blue, and thus coloration occurs with solvents that have the ability to dissolve the reagent. Also, it has been confirmed that sensitivity varies depending on the type of organic solvent, even with the same amount of moisture (dissolution due to water). The degree of dissolution due to the test liquid (the degree of coloration) varies, so we recommend testing with the applicable test liquid.
Ion test paper - IRON CHECK
- Is it possible to measure iron ions contained in ferric citrate?
- Measurement is possible with iron (II) citrate. Accurate measurement is not possible with iron (III) citrate. However, measurement can be done if reduced to bivalent iron.
